This school had been closed from 2001-2006. UN Ahmadinejad speech 2009/Not anti-semitic, but right criticism on IsraelAnonyme, Saturday, October 3, 2009 - 17:50 (Reportage ind. / Ind. news report | Droits / Rights / Derecho | Guerre / War | Imperialism | Racism | Repression | Solidarite internationale)Not only the Western walkout at the UN 2009 Ahmadinejad speech is a part of a repeating show, consciously the Western countries make no distinction between Ahmadinejad's just criticism on Israel and his alleged ''anti-semitic rhetoric'' Since the Western countries are directly and indirectly supporting the Israeli occupation, it is a shame and disgrace, that they walkout at this very speech, which brings into light the Israeli war-crimes and the Western implicite consent. Quebec Court rejects Bil'ins' (Palestine) claim against builders registered in QuebecMichael Lessard, Friday, October 2, 2009 - 16:01 (Communiqués | Droits / Rights / Derecho | Repression | Solidarite internationale)
Montreal, September 28th, 2009 (Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East) - In his decision of September 18th, Judge Louis-Paul Cullen of the Superior Court of Quebec dismissed the case of the Palestinian village of Bil'in which had filed a lawsuit against Green Mount International Inc. and Green Park International Inc., two companies registered in Quebec and involved in the construction of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank. The judge based his argument on the legal exception of forum non conveniens, arguing that Quebec courts lacked jurisdiction to adjudicate, arguing that the case must be decided in Israeli courts. [Canada] Propaganda posing as analysis: the case of Tom Flanagan and intervening abroadAnonyme, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 - 08:57 (Analyses | Droits / Rights / Derecho | Imperialism | Politics | Repression | Solidarite internationale)When I read "Intervening abroad: Do we have the means to match our will?" in the Globe and Mail by Tom Flanagan, I could only wonder at the basis of tenure in our universities, for, truly, here are bits of weak observation, clichés, and half-truths pasted together and offered as analysis. Worse, there is a thread of partisan propaganda holding the bits together like a string of beads. “Harper announced that his Conservative government would adhere to the national interest in formulating Canada's foreign policy…” ~The fine art of denying 45 million Americans healthcare is being exported to Europe next ~Anonyme, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 - 22:59 (Analyses | Droits / Rights / Derecho | Politics | Poverty | Religion | Sante / Health / Salud)WHAT IS THE CO$T SAVING$ FOR THIS VERY WEALTHY COUNTRY OF AMERICA TO HAVE SILENT RELIGIOUS LEADERS WHO ALL HAVE HEALTH~CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES AND..................... THE “ALLEGED abduction, illegal detention, and torture” of a certain Melissa Roxas, reportedly in May 19, 2009, has indeed startled the very core of human civilities.

Israel imposes new travel restrictions on CanadiansMichael Lessard, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 - 09:49 (Communiqués | Droits / Rights / Derecho | Guerre / War | Repression | Solidarite internationale)Press Release: Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (Ontario, Sept. 1, 2009) - Canadians visiting the Israeli-occupied West Bank over the last few months have been met by an unwelcome surprise at the border. Israeli officials have recently begun issuing a new and onerous type of entrance visa to international visitors with family or business in the West Bank. The new visas restrict travel to Palestinian areas only and often limit visitors' length of stay to one month. Meanwhile, other international visitors to Israel are allowed a three month stay, and may travel within Israel proper freely. |
